Babiana framesii is a wonderful vigorous species that is generally found in rocky outcrops amongst karroid scrub in it's native habitiat around Nieuwouldtville in Southern Africa. This species has dark blue-purple flowers with white stripes and red markings and the leaves are rather soft and hairy.
